Remote Level Monitoring FAQ
How accurate is the level reading?
Rivio's ultrasonic sensors are accurate to within ±1% of the tank's capacity. You get a precise percentage, not an estimate.
What about tanks with no cell service?
Rivio works on major LTE networks (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile). If you can make a phone call near the tank, the sensor will connect.
How often does the sensor report?
Default is every 4 hours, but you can configure it from every hour to once per day depending on how critical the tank is.
What's the battery life?
Rivio sensors are built for years of maintenance-free operation with optimized power management and LTE sleep modes.
Can I share tank data with my customers?
Yes — Rivio has a customer-facing portal. Property owners can check their own tank level without calling you.
Does it work in freezing temperatures?
Yes. Rivio sensors are rated for extreme conditions — from -40°F to 185°F. They work year-round in any climate.
