What Is the Rochester Sensors TEK 871?

The TEK 871 combines the TEK 822 ultrasonic sensor and TEK 865 data logger into a single intrinsically safe cellular unit — ATEX certified and rated UL913 Class I Division 1 Zone 0. It's designed for fuel tanks, chemical vessels, and any application where ignition risk demands the highest safety rating.

What is the difference between the TEK 871 and TEK 811?

The TEK 871 is ATEX intrinsically safe (UL913 C1D1 Zone 0) — rated for environments with continuous flammable gas presence. The TEK 811 is C1D2 — rated for less severe hazardous areas. Rivio integrates with both.

Is the TEK 871 the same as TEK 822 + TEK 865?
