The TEK 822 is an ATEX intrinsically safe cellular LPG and propane data logger (C1D1) that attaches directly to a propane tank's dial gauge — reading level without drilling or liquid contact. Over CAT-M1/NB-IoT, it feeds level data straight to the cloud. Pair with Rivio for fleet-wide LPG monitoring, delivery scheduling, and automated runout prevention.
What Is the TEK 822?
The TEK 822 (also called TEK Gas) clips onto a standard LPG/propane tank dial gauge and reads the level optically — no drilling, no contact with the gas. The ATEX C1D1 certification makes it safe for propane and other flammable gas environments. It transmits via NB-IoT/CAT-M1 to the cloud. The TEK 822 is also a core component in the TEK 871 combined unit.
